Sliding and swing door solutions for leading research tower
ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems provided a range of automatic and manual door solutions as part of a sustainable state-of-the-art construction for the MaRS Research Tower in Toronto.
MaRS is an innovation center for medical research and development, located within the Discovery District research hub in the heart of Toronto.
MaRS and B&H Architects were challenged to design and construct a LEED Canada-CS Gold Certified state of the art technology 20 story facility that would house multiple tenants focused on work and learning, health and energy.
ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems collaborated with B&H Architects and Trillium Architectural Hardware to identify the best solutions to meet the everyday sustainability, clean room and accessibility needs of the various tenants.
Besam VersaMax ICU sliding doors and Besam SW200i Automatic Swing Door Operators provided the solutions required to meet the challenges of the sustainable and accessible design criteria.
