ASSA ABLOY Hospitality has completed installation of its Signature RFID by VingCard electronic door locks at the headquarters of the Azerbaijan Republic Ministry of Finance in Baku.
The new 132-room headquarters is central to the operations of the Ministry of Finance of Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic, the city and district finance bodies and branches, the Treasury Department on Central Bodies, the State Chamber of Standards, the Information Technologies Center and the Finance Scientific-Training Center.
The building is home to numerous critical operations that aim to advance the republic’s financial policies and administer the state’s budget. Obviously, the ministry requires the highest possible level of security, which is why the government turned to VingCard and its Signature RFID advanced access-control systems.
Designed to provide the highest standard of security for complex office buildings around the world, Signature RFID by VingCard features a 600-event audit trail, reprogrammable FLASH RAM lock memory, and both magnetic strip and combo-reader options. “Signature RFID by VingCard provides the ministry with an easy-to-use, convenient locking solution that maintains the highest security,” says Christian Hénon, Managing Director of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) for ASSA ABLOY Hospitality. “Signature RFID’s unique system features assure that the Azerbaijan Republic Ministry of Finance will have unparalleled security.
“The flexibility of this lock system provides for a high degree of security — even with extreme usage by employees and visitors — and the complex access patterns that are needed to accommodate this kind of daily traffic,” Hénon says. “The Signature RFID locking system ensures that the entire building is properly monitored for access-control purposes. The system was designed for streamlined incorporation into the plans of architects and builders so that locks are selected at the same time.”
