ASSA ABLOY cares about its customers and its employees, therefore corporate social responsibility is our top priority. We are unfortunately forced to take various measures regarding the COVID-19 outbreak and with this message we would like to inform you about our activities related to the outbreak.

Keeping our people safe and business running

To ensure that our products and services are delivered according to agreement, we have internally taken all possible hygiene measures, ensured sufficient distance between our employees and let as many of our employees as possible work from home. We are closely monitoring how the spread of the virus is affecting our employees and business operations. We have developed preparedness plans to help protect the safety of employees around the world while safely continuing business.

No more visits by our sales representatives

In order to continue working as safely and responsibly as possible at this time, we have decided to change the way our sales representatives and account managers will operate in the coming period. Naturally, they are still available to provide you with the service you deserve. However they will no longer make any personal visits in the coming period. Of course, like the rest of the organization, they will remain accessible through the usual channels. We advise you to contact our employees by email to prevent possible overloading of our telephone exchange. If it is necessary that our colleagues should be physically present during a consultation or support, then only when observing the prescribed hygiene and protective measures.

Shipping and/or collecting goods

You also do not have to worry about the shipping and/or collection of your goods, because this remains unchanged. Here too, we take all measures to ensure that all this proceeds as safely and responsibly as possible. For the time being, we produce as we normally do and we do not anticipate longer delivery times and/or product unavailability. Our stocks are still sufficiently up to standard. As this situation continues, we are closely monitoring and responding to any potential impact to our broader supply chain. Serving our customers is a top priority and our business teams are working diligently to communicate with individual customers about any potential disruptions.

In order to ensure that our service technicians can continue to do their work safely, the execution of service is carefully coordinated. Please reach out to your contact person with any questions.

Advice from the authorities

We keep a close eye on advices from the Ministry of Health as well as from other authorities and will definitely heed it. We realize that this is a difficult period for everyone, both inside and outside the business, and hope for your understanding.
